    Action log in Infopath

I am tryign to make a history log that gets information from sharepoint and displays it in the following way: -- User1 xxx (submitted) the form on xx-xx-20xx -- User2 xxx (reviewed) the form on xx-xx-20xx I know I should use a multiline textbox. But I cannot figure out how to dynamically add the rows to it and how to get the data ( especially the user name and the type of action done ) Thank you

    Hello,

We do have an XTP that does just this - it's called the Change History XTP. It has a Save button that records a history of who saved the form at what time. It also has a place where users can enter notes before saving. Each time the button is clicked, it adds a row into a repeating table with the change log.

    Here's a screenshot:

    You can get it here.

Let us know if you need assistance with the XTP!

    Cheers!

    Hi Mel,

Can this log be seperatly added to different views with in a form?  My form is about 80 views long and I'll need a seperate notes section for each page.

    Thanks,

    Nick
