I am getting a random error sometimes with my initial infopath (web enabled) form (numerous different forms) to a library and qdabra connection.  After the error, I submit again and it works.  It seems to be very intermittant.

I have dug through the logs a bit and this is some of the important information I am getting:

Failed to get SPGroupName from GroupID. Error Message: Group cannot be found.

&

Data adapter failure during submit: The operation has timed out

I am using SP 2010.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Are you using DBXL? If so, can you look into the Qdabra event log and see if you can find any errors there?

I'm also curious about what "qdabra connection" you have. If you have DBXL installed, you can follow the Getting Started guide on how to create a submit connection to DBXL and create a document type, and then follow this document to create a SharePoint mapping. Can you confirm if that's what you're doing?

 We are using DBXL but I'm not convinced that it's not just a general SharePoint/InfoPath error.  No events in the Qdabra logs, and everything still works.  Immediately after the error message I hit submit again and it goes through.  However, it creates a duplicate document in the library. 

Hi - quick questions:

• What DBXL version are you using? What SharePoint version?
• Do you have code in your form?
• Do you have workflow in your form library that triggers after clicking submit?

DBXL: 2.6.2011.1211 Sharepoint: 2010 SP1 14.0.6028.1000 No Code No Workflow One of the forms submit to two different tables if that is at all relevant. Thanks for your help Jo-Anne
