I am new to infopath so need a little help.

I have submitted description of workflow task using infopath form to a list.Now i want that whenever user clicks on the form in the list, the previously entered description automatically gets retrieved with or without using any code behind.Any idea how to achieve this.

You can add a receive data connection to your SharePoint library and configure your form to use that secondary data connection (e.g. add rules to return description to a field in your form).

i have done this and it works fine.But the data connection for receive purpose will work fine untill i have not created any subsite.Because subsite's library url will be different from the provided one.

For that reason i m trying to use code behind in which i used the load event of the form, performing some checks and then capturing the current web.But an error like this occurs when i open my published form

"Forms that require the domain permission level contain features that access information on a network, such as data connections, linked images, and code."

How did you publish the form? You're using code so you need to admin-approve the form.

Sounds like the issue is in your load event code. If you temporarily remove code, does it still produce error?

I think any form that uses codebehind cannot be published to a site collection.So i have left that method of retrieving data from list using this technique. Now i am doing what is using a secondary data connection(ItemMetadata.xml) in which i have created fields. I used workflow extended properties for sending valus to .xml file and in this way the form can load these values in it. Now my question is 1)whether sharepoint 2010 supports ItemMetadata.xml? 2)In what way i can load the list column values upon form load, because workflowtaskchanged and workflowactivate methods i think cannot provide the data for form loading purposes? 3)And in what way can i publish this form to a site collection? 4)In the end.......will this technique works or not??? thanks in advance :)
