File attachment control doesn't see files with a long filename when form is opened in browser

    Hello,

File attachment control works well when short filenames are used. Error appears if filename's lenght is above 30 symbols, after click on "Upload" link.

Error: "The selected file was not found."

It appears only when form is displayed as web page, when opened in the client application works well. It is necessary to work with long filenames.

Could you help to fix this trouble?

InfoPath 2007, Sharepoint MOSS 2007. Used in Document library item.

    Thanks.

You say that this works in InfoPath but fails in the browser, which indicates that this might be a SharePoint (IPFS) issue and not an InfoPath issue. I would suggest that you also research SharePoint and IPFS help/documentation. Good luck.
