Change the name on a Qrules filename that gets submitted to doc lib?

I have a form that submits attachments to a document library (pictures and files), and populates a link to that item in a sharepoint list.  The link is then populated back into the form to view attachments.

The links work fine for pictures (because for some reason it always names them _picture).  But files saved to the library that have a " " in the filename do not work with the hyperlink.  I get a 404 file not found error.  I get the same behavior from the link in the list.

Is there a way to change the filename that SharePoint/Qrules saves to the library?  I can't ask all my users to rename their files.

    Hi-

qRules use the GetAttachmentAttributes command (introduced in v2.2) to determine the filename. To that filename it prepends a unique prefix using date and time stamp plus and underscore. I can add a request to investigate this for a future version.

If a file with a space in the filename is uploaded manually to SharePoint, I see that the link becomes:

    http://shp2010-test2/Shared%20Documents/New%20Text%20Document.txt

What is the link generated by qRules and added to your form?

Thank you for this additional info.

Thanks for your response.  The link to the file does not include the %20 in my situation (for some reason).  I added a rule to make it that way, though.  And now it works.

On the hyperlink field in my form (coming back from SP) -

    If Hyperlink contains " "

    concat(substring-before(., " "), "%20", substring-after(., " "))

    This resolved the problem.
