highlight all editable controls in the form

We have some read-only controls and some editable controls. Is it possible to highlight all editable controls in the form so that the user can follow easily which ones are editable. If yes, what would be a suggested method.

Yes, you can easily use conditional formatting to highlight the field in yellow. Add a rule for formatting to the editable fields. If the field is blank, you can show he yellow background. If it's not blank, you can choose not to show it - this way they can focus on only what fields are left to fill out. If you're using InfoPath 2010, you can copy the rules easily from one field to another.
