Hello,

 I would like to use a repeating Table that looks like this:

Option #       Select          Options

1                 [Check box]  Rich Text Field

2                 [Check box]  Rich Text Field     (Only after inserting)

3                 [Check box]  Rich Text Field     (Only after Inserting)

Insert Additional Options

What formula or how do I get the 1st column to be a running count.

Lines 2 and 3 only appear if the user Inserts Additional Options.

I was thinking a text box with default of 1, then a formula, but haven't figured it out how to get it to be 2, 3, 4, 5....

There is a sample that does this posted here. Basically, you'll combine count with preceding-sibling and add one. Take a look at the sample form and post back if you need more help.

Worked fine, I could not cut and paste into default box and get it to work, but had to actually paste my edited version after I went into the fx (function) box.  Not sure why?

Yes -- it is a formula, so must be entered in the formula box (unless you are putting it in an expression box....). I'm happy the sample form helped!
