In doing so, InfoPath changes the date from i.e. 3/22/10 to 2010/3/22. So, how to I keep the original date info from SharePoint when it is displayed within an InfoPath form? I know that you need to add a formula to keep the formatting but I don't know where to start in coming up with the formula? Any guides that I should take a look at? Reply Contact The underlying date is stored as a string in the XML format which is YYYY-MM-DD. Unfortunately there is no function that will format the date how you want. You'll have to download the free trial of qRules and use FormatDate to set a separate value in your form and then promote that field. Then you should be good to go.
