Secondary data connections with File Attachments

I have a web service returning a dataset which includes File Attachments or Pictures.  The data originally came from InfoPath File Attachments or Pictures (base64binary data).

When I go through the data connection wizard to set up the connection, it correctly creates an item for the base64binary field.

However, when I drag my new Group on the page, it assumes that this is a Picture instead of a File Attachment.  I cannot change it back to File Attachment.

Any ideas on what's going on?  How can I get it back into InfoPath as a File Attachment instead of a Picture?

    Thanks.

Sadly, InfoPath does NOT support file attachment controls on secondary data sources--only on the main data source.

While it is possible to manually edit your XSL file to copy the XSL required to create an attachment control, binding it to your Web Service node, when you open the designer the control will appear broken, and when you preview or run your form, you will be able to see your attachment but not interact with it (i.e. not open, delete or change it--just see it).

Actually it does seem to work ok, but once you've read them in you have to copy the attachments to File Attachment controls within your main datasource to make use of them.

There are no restrictions to file attachments within the main data source. I found on a secondary data source, manually fixing up the XSL, I only had a readonly control in the view.
