    Permanent Shortcut to Form

Unless I'm wrong, whenever you publish an InfoPath Form, it creates a new version/filename of the template.

Is there a way to have a permanent shortcut (e.g. on a SharePoint Site) to the form that doesn't have to be changed after each publish?

after every publish, the original template gets updated. the template is located at

    your form library path\forms\template.xsn

    to navigate to the template.xsn

open your document library -> go to actions -> open in windows explorer , forms

as far your question is concerned i dont really get it what you want, can you rephrase it

This question was related to the Forms Services URL that SharePoint generates when you hit the "New" button in a Form Library.

Every time a I publish a new version of the form this "New" URL changes thus requiring me to change any links to this form on other pages (otherwise users see the old form or an error).

why do you need to publish it with a different name, use the same name while publishing the form.

Thanks Qazi - good question - this was a K2 Workflow issue when you deploy forms.  It changes the URN something... not too sure.

Perhaps I need to write a Web Part that you can register Form Libraries with and it'll query the Library for it's New Item URL and display a set of links.
