InfoPath Dev

Hello all, 

I was wondering if it is possible to create a footer with controls.  my company has forms which has footer with information on the left and the right side of the footer.  I was able to import the document successful and add all the controls needed in the document, but the footer is the last thing i am having issues.  Any thoughts or idea on how i should handle this?
