Submitting to multiple tables via view

I have a normalized database that I'm trying to use InfoPath to submit to.  I know that it isn't possible to submit to tables using a join statement, so I thought to make a view and use an Instead of Insert trigger.  My thinking was that Infopath would just see it as one table, and submit, but I guess it just sees the view as a cover for joined tables.  Is there a way to overcome this lack of functionality?

    Hi CMBrooks08,

Yes, you can install our ultra cheap Web Service and have it working in under 1 hour. Go to Qdabra.com->Products, click on DBXL, and download a free trial. If you have questions or issues, our support forum is free.

Seriously, we developed this Web Service 5 years ago when we found all of our customers running into the same problem. There is no other solution today that is as inexpensive. You could write reams of code which is costly to maintain or write your own web service (costly and only works with one form). Our web service works with all of your form templates. The XML to DB mapping is data configurable, so you can add fields and update the mapping at any time and just "reshred" previous XML into the DB. The XML is saved in the DB too for 100% fidelity.

    Cheers!

     Patrick-

I know this site is to push your product, but unfortunately, my team doesn't have the budget and/or time to work on coming up to speed on a new Web Service piece.  We're just looking for Infopath to provide temporary solutions until a more structured source is used by our customers, but we need to provide them with something on a quick turnaround basis until they get to that point.  Are there any other methods that don't involve buying/installing something new?
