    File not found infopath 2007

    Hi,

this issue is driving me mad and i hope somebody knows a solution.
I use sharepoint 2007 and infopath 2007, im trying to run a really simple browser based form, i have only one button and text field. I have build many infopath 2007 forms, but never discovered this issue before.

I publish this form very simple just publishing to a sharepoint site with a form library, if i do this task on one of my develoepr machines it runs perfect no errors and i can see the form in my browser. I have also browser enabled everything.

But when do exactly the same think on my production environment, i get a file not found notification :-(. Now i turn debuggin on in my web.config file and recieve this exception:

I have not any clue what this means?? And there is not much regarding this topic in google. The funny think is if i turn of the open as web page button under advanced settings the form opens fine directly inside infopath 2007.

Please somebody help, this issue is way to weird. All features and services are turned on, and i use the enterprise edition of sharepoint 2007!!

    Thanx in advance

Re: File not found infopath 2007

    Hi Qazi,

Thank you for your reply, im using a ordinary sharepoint 2007 form library and i click new and the form says loading and behind this loading notification i can see the exception as described. I have named the form several different thinks test, the name infopath suggests etc.

I wonder if a service needs to run on the server? I have 3 seperate sharepoint server 2 of them infopath runs fine just on this single machine i get this file not found exception.

I tried creating a totally new web application on the same server, deleting the form library etc. no success

    Any ideas?

Re: File not found infopath 2007

Totally weird, i have just gone through all the services which are enabled on the windows 2003 server it self and they seem too to be enabled as they should.

I use the infopath 2007 publishing wizard, it connects to the sharepoint site and deploys fine until i click on the link open formular, i then recieve this file not found exception :-(. If i  unenable the browser enabled feature underneath advanced settings in the form library the form opens fine directly into infopath.

I have googled for some time now and i cannot find anybody who has a similar issue :-(

do you mean to say that if u open the form in infopath, it opens fine, but if u try to open the same form in broswer it does not work. then might be the form is using some features that are client specific.

Is your form broswer enabled (the template)

Re: File not found infopath 2007

This form is extreme simple i have jsu added one single button, and yes i have browser enabled it. If i do exactly the same thing on a other server it work fine.

This form has no code nothing just 1 button, and i use the publishing wizard. I have done this many times, but it seems as if this server has problems with form.
