Form won't open for other users

Ok, so I followed this tutorial: http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/programmatically-add-item-sharepoint-calendar-infopath.htm and I have a form that works well with Sharepoint, aside form the fact that other users besides myself cannot access it! I've been told this is due to the code that was added to the form not being accessible. An error is received saying "This form cannot be opened because it requires the domain permission level and it currently has restricted permission."

If someone could help me solve this so that others can open my form on Sharepoint (or anywhere, it doesn't even work when sent as an email attachment), I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you.

    Hi:

Open your form in design mode. In InfoPath 2007, you can go to Tools > Form Options > Security and Trust (probably some place similar in 2003, I just don't remember, I'm afraid), you can change the trust settings. I usually let IP 'Automatically determine security level' but you may want to try setting the level to Domain (since that is what the error is telling you) and republishing....

Thank you for replying, but unfortunately, I have already tried that and the form still doesn't open for others.

And you used the publishing wizard to publish the form to the form library?

Or rather, I should ask, where are your users accessing the form from?

When I use the publishing wizard and publish it to a Sharepoint form library, the form works ok. However, it is not accessible if I upload it as a file to the library and have users open it up as a regular document and not as a new document. I would like for users to open it up as a regular document so as to avoid having a bunch of copies end up in the form library. I want users to be able to click a link on the main Sharepoint site that opens up the InfoPath form that they can fill out and save to their computer if desired. But the file cannot be accessed if I upload it to the library.

That's not how you use InfoPath.  You don't upload the template and then have people double-click it to save somewhere else.  You publish it, people click new, and then they submit or save.  Why do you want people to save to their computer instead of the form library?  For what it's worth, if it's a rich client form, you can tell them to just click File > Save As and then choose a spot on their local machine.  You have to realize that there is a big difference between the form template (XSN) and the resulting data file (XML).  They shouldn't have direct access to the XSN, because then they can change it.  They should only be able to open a data XML file from the template that then gets saved somewhere else.  If you don't want people submitting their finished forms to SharePoint, which is the typical and normal way, then do you need to have the template in SharePoint at all?  You can always publish the template to a network location that is shared for all users.  You can link to that from SharePoint just like you could if it were in SharePoint itself.
