  • Re: Problem with Form Published to Network

Thanks! Clearing the cache helped somewhat. Then I got a different error. After that I was able to go delete the template from the network and republish it. (Wasn't able to before for some reason.) Now it works again.  Thanks for your help and prompt reply! Tammy

  • Problem with Form Published to Network

It's been a long time since I've written for help. That's because the InfoPath form I had on the network was working great; now it's bombing. I created the form on my computer. I published it to a network location where it can be filled out and emailed to me (via a "submit" button). When I receive it back, it's an ...

  • Re: Can't Open Form on Network

Here's the message that I'm getting when I try to open the form that has been emailed to me. The form template associated with this form was moved or cannot be accessed. The form template "FAC Inspection Form" on your computer has the same form ID as the template associated with the form, but it is from a different ...

  • Re: Can't Open Form on Network

Thanks Hilary! That solved that problem. Now another one has been created. Once the employee fills out the form and emails it back to me, I save the .xml file on my computer and I am unable to open it. I was able to before, then import it to Access. Any clues?

  • Problem Changing Binding on Field

I used my 1st form as a template for my 2nd form (two different databases). I had to right-click on each field and choose "change binding" then I was able to choose the field from the 2nd database. That is very time-consuming, but I did it, field by field. Then I used my 2nd form as a template for my 3rd form (a third database). When I ...

  • Re: Can't Open Form on Network

By "code" I am assuming you and the program are referring to formulas. That's the only thing I have embedded in function boxes. The reason for it is as the employee enters values into the form, calculations are done. These calculations can't be done by my database because it resides on my computer and not accessible to anyone ...

  • Can't Open Form on Network

While I was working on my form, I was having it tested by a co-worker who could access the network folder where I published it. Everything was going fine until today. Once I got all the formulas in it, I published it again. Now he can't open it. He gets the message: InfoPath cannot create a new, blank form. InfoPath cannot open the form. To ...

  • Re: Complex Formula in Function Box

Now there are no errors in the formula, but it seems to just be adding everything together instead of adding the first set and dividing by the second set. I tried enclosing the second set in parentheses but that gave me an error. Any clues? I've re-pasted the formula. Thanks!    sum(dfs:dataFields/d:tblFHeader/d:tblSec1/@fld11S) ...
