Hi Patrick, Thanks for your suggestion, here's my design goal though. I have a page that's designed as if it were a little CRM type dashboard. Imagine that the top right of the page has a "company filter" then beneath it an "ID" filter. Those items are tiny and take up no space. Along the center-top is the main ... Posted to General (Forum) by homeslacks on 12-13-2010 Can you add a sharepoint dataview somehow onto an infopath form? Regarding SharePoint 2010, I love to add dataviews to the default or my own displayforms for lists. I usually do this so that say when you open a "Project" list items display form you have a dataview beneath that shows related "Project Tasks" from the project task list via dataview filtered etc. The great feature in sp2010 to ... I'm going to see about using as much of that style of rules and formatting as I can. Thank you kindly. :) Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by homeslacks on 09-17-2009 Re: Errors with published fields and DBXL as follows. I now better understand the relationship with the XSN/DAT and SharePoint and it makes sense. Regarding the use of Forms-Based workflows I've never seen how they are created, what they can do etc. I've read for example from front to back an Office Infopath 2007 Dev book and it never mentioned forms based workflows. Would you kindly let me ... This sounds great Bhavesh! I'm going to give it a try as soon as I can. Thank you very much for your help on this one. :) Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by homeslacks on 09-12-2009 Re: Problems going from my infopath forms in sharepoint to dbxl as follows. Thanks Ernesto, I'll spy out your advice/solution next monday and see how it goes. :) Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by homeslacks on 09-12-2009 Errors with published fields and DBXL as follows. Start with a working Infopath to sharepoint form. It has say 5 published fields. These fields are available to workflows for editing etc. Edit the template to change the submit to sharepoint to be submit to DBXL. Republish template to SharePoint & add to the DAT tool. Via Dat create mappings to SQL and to SharePoint. Result at this point is ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by homeslacks on 09-11-2009 Problems going from my infopath forms in sharepoint to dbxl as follows. Long long long story short. I have forms in sharepoint that are happy ever after. They submit to sharepoint, have dataviews, run designer workflows etc. I need to migrate them to be submitted to DBXL then from dbxl to a SQL DB and to SP. No matter what I've done, no matter what sequence I follow I have issues. I have tried to many routes, have ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by homeslacks on 09-11-2009 Can I install 2 DBXL instances on a server? I have a site called say "sharepoint.company.com" and DBXL is using that web site so that the service is "sharepoint.company.com/webservice...". The issue I have is that I have sharepoint web applications on a site called "app1.company.com" and each time these forms use the web service on ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by homeslacks on 09-10-2009 How to add the submit to DBXL & to SQL with the least amount of heartache. I have a SharePoint site with custom dataviews, links and all sorts of stuff all centered around my main "Incident Report" infopath form. This form is created from SharePoint via a form library and filled out then submitted back to SharePoint where all the magic begins with workflows on-new that set fields on the very form, create list ...
