Can I install 2 DBXL instances on a server?

I have a site called say "sharepoint.company.com" and DBXL is using that web site so that the service is "sharepoint.company.com/webservice...". The issue I have is that I have sharepoint web applications on a site called "app1.company.com" and each time these forms use the web service on "sharepoint.company.com" they get a security warning box that needs a click or worse things don't work. I'm using Kerberos by the way.

My mind tells me that if I had two web services running, one per web URL I'd be good to go, is that possible or might there be another solution please? The issue is that in decent size sharepoint farms you rarely would find where you have one single root URL that everything is based off, you usually have several unique web app urls and if using DBXL, your sort of hosed to just using it on the one web app?

Yes, it is possible to have multiple DBXL services running.  The only issue is that the installer does handle multiple installations on the same server.  It will require a manual installation of the second instance.

The QdabraWebService folder can be copied to another location, but there are some IIS mapping entries (*.xsn, *.xml and a wildcard) that need to be manually created complete the installation.  They will also need to use different databases.  We will post a how-to in the near future to document these steps.
