sweet i used a varchar instead of char in my table and that fixed the problem thanks

i have a few dropdown controls with which i entered my values in manually. When i fill out my form and submit the data it sends it out successfully ( i checked my database) but when i run a query the results do not change on the form dropdown control does not show the new results it just stays on default. i have 2007 infopath and a 2005 sql

i am using sharepoint 3.0 and infopath 2007, when i try to place form in sharepoint i get an error "infopath cannot create a ne, blank form. The form contains schema validation errors" under show details i have "The element 'comment' is used but not declared in the DTD/Schema." i looked up data and even deleted totally ...
