InfoPath Dev

i have a few dropdown controls with which i entered my values in manually. When i fill out my form and submit the data it sends it out successfully ( i checked my database) but when i run a query the results do not change on the form dropdown control does not show the new results it just stays on default. i have 2007 infopath and a 2005 sql

I would add some expression boxes bound to the same fields and verify what is being returned.

What field types are you using in SQL?  I have seen with non-variable field types that the data gets padded with spaces but then when imported back in that is not an exact match with the dropdown value and therefore it will not show it.

But just display the data not in a drop down and verify it exactly is where I would start.

sweet i used a varchar instead of char in my table and that fixed the problem thanks
