Anyway to change the Font or Bold in the plain text in the body? this is infopath 2003

thanks..   using the .bold after the varible or .fontsize(20) i get this in the email: <FONT SIZE="20">5454354</FONT>  - so it seems to be passing HTML - and the intro part of infopath 2003 does not translate it correctly?  idea maybe to get around this? Ihave discovered how to do a carriage return very simply var oreturn = '\r'  then use that in the mail.intro statement   However I can not figure out how to do bold or a bigger front - is this even possible?  

i appreciate it, though having difficulty figuring it out - would like any input!
