I found this article which suggests that GetListItems will not work without writing a proxy web service to translate the results: http://wssdev.blogspot.com/2007/06/infopath-use-sharepoint-web-services.html I'm hoping there is a way to do this with a CAML file used as a Secondary Data Source.

I'm trying to do exactly the same thing.  I need to be able to open a new form, somehow passing information from a list which will auto populate certain fields. Is this possible?
