  • Re: Pass parameters into Infopath Form

I figured it out.  The way I am doing it is passing the parameters in from the url.  For example, From my asp.net webpage i would run something like http://server/SharePointSite/Forms/template.xsn?test=Parameter1.  In my IP code i just called the InputParameters with name test and get the value of it.

  • Pass parameters into Infopath Form

I have an ASP.NET webpage that opens Infopath forms from a Sharepoint Site.  All it is doing is linking directly to the folder where Sharepoint stores all the xml files.  What I am looking to do is pass in parameters to a new Infopath form.  I know there is some functionality with the eventObj.XDocument.InputParameters.  Does ...

Check the security and trust on your form options.  Usually this message occurs when you have the form selected to Full Trust, but you dont have a certificate signed on it.

  • Printing through Code

Has anyone come across a solution to print from infopath without having to use the default printer?  I know you can use the XDocument.PrintOut(), but i dont want the user to have to keep a certain default printer.  Is there any active x control or anything like that?  Thanks for your replies.

  • User tracking

I am using WSS 3.0 and InfoPath 2007.  I know when you open an Infopath form from a sharepoint view it saves it in a version history under your login name.  Is there anyway to pass that information back to sharepoint any other way from InfoPath?  I dont want employees to have to log off and on all the time, but I will know when they ...

Ok i know an easy way to open a form in Infopath is by using the C# code:         System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("C:\\Documents and Settings\\user\\Desktop\\Test.xml");   Is there a better way to do this in my ASP.NET page?

the reason to keeping sharepoint is the ease of use to be able to publish a template instead of configuring my site to be able to publish my template too
