I am using WSS 3.0 and InfoPath 2007. I know when you open an Infopath form from a sharepoint view it saves it in a version history under your login name. Is there anyway to pass that information back to sharepoint any other way from InfoPath? I dont want employees to have to log off and on all the time, but I will know when they are in the form who they are by what they are doing. So i was wondering if i could pass back to sharepoint a username to be stored in the version history. Any ideas?
