I am abandoning this method for now - I notice that in filler, I can export to excel - but I was wondering can I export just the repeating table to an excel document with rules or a button click? The end goal is to have the repeating table exported to excel Thanks in advance

i'll see if my administrator can change that. Is there anything else i can do in the meantime outside of these logs? I am just one of many groups that use the same SP server

if you could make sense of these - we did a submission test at around 9:24/9:25 mark on these logs - see attached. Thanks!

i just followed this to try something basic: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/02/02/Add-SharePoint-List-Items-with-InfoPath.aspx - the data will copy in infopath filler, but when i publish the form to sharepoint and open it in the browser, the data does not copy over and no error messages

thank you so much! yes the data is the same in filler and the same in the browser after i published it - what are my next steps? edit: i'm also open to suggestions on alternative solutions to this that can be done out of the box if it is easier

it doesn't do anything when i drag it ontop of the fields task pane - just changes my mouse to a "not permitted" cursor. i've attached my xsn file

thats correct - i have the web service setup as a submit data connection and the XML file as a data connection as well. If i drag the XML doc onto the form in the browser, it just opens up the XML doc in the browser. Sorry!! i'm new to this and i'm just learning this on the fly!

sorry - i do not know what you mean by drag the CAML XML onto the form? if i manually add an entry into the list - there are no issues

I went through the Logs and didn't really see anything that stood out as to why it doesn't copy over to the list. Other than this line.. maybe?
