Yes i am putting in temp_vac as default. My goal is to use the previous value from used_vac_hrs so that in the access databae i can store the total hours used and then can subtract from the total to show the remaining hours

my problem is same I am trying to use the preceding-sibling formula but it is not working keep saying "preceding-sibling::Vacatoin_Info/Used_Vac_Hrs" does not point to a valid location path of a field or group.
