 Hello Hillary I want to thank u for your assistance thus far. I want the infopath forms autonumbered before they are saved. i have a text-box field called autonumber on my infopath form. i have set the default value to 001. Each time a user opens the form i want the number to change to 002 and so on is this possible

Hello Hillary thanks for your response i think u missunderstood me on the infopath form, i have a field called NO:0987 each time a user fills the form they should each have a unique number, this will allow for auditing of each of the forms

 Hello people i just created an infopath form for petty cash on the form i have a NO:0023 field that i want to be autonumbered when a new user fills out the form  in essense what am trying to say is that the NO: filed changes for each filled petty cash form please how can this be done
