I can export the first view, then I call 'View.SwitchView' and in the 'OnSwitchView' event I can then export the second view, but I can't seem to then switch back to the main view, I get the following error: 'InfoPath cannot execute any view-related object model calls. The view is not ... Posted to Views (Forum) by sjc724 on 04-14-2006 Re: Diffgram Thanks for your response. I agree that only allowing 'submit' when the user is on-line would be preferrable, but I really need a solution for the user to be able to 'submit' even when off-line. So I guess no one knows if you can generate a diffgram from InfoPath? Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 03-17-2006 Re: Diffgram I cannot use the IP submit because the only options are web service, e-mail or SharePoint and I have to allow for the user to press submit while working off-line (business requirements dictate that the user should be able to 'submit' whether on-line or off-line so I need to save the data changes someplace until they are connected). Data cache is ... Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 03-16-2006 Diffgram Is there a way I can produce a diffgram of the changes made to my InfoPath data? I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I don't have a submit data connection. I need to give the user full fuctionality off-line so the data they're working with is cached on the local harddrive. On submit I need to write the data back to the data cache (via ... Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 03-15-2006 Re: Query secondary xml datasource Found the answer, and it is very basic (I lost sight of the fact that the whole 'selectNodes' is taking a string): Instead of: contactNodes = thisXDocument.GetDOM(''Contacts'').selectNodes(''ContactData/Contact[contains(last_name, searchString)]''); I needed to do the following: contactNodes = ... Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 03-07-2006 Re: Query secondary xml datasource Here is a bit more detail: I get the text that the user typed and put it in a string variable: string searchString = thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//SIUData/ReportContacts/last_name'').text; Then I pass the string variable to an xpath function to find all nodes containing that string: contactNodes = ... Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 03-07-2006 Query secondary xml datasource Hi, I'm new to xpath and having a problem creating the query I need. I have an xml document as a secondary datasource. I would like to use a text string that the user types in a text box to search for all matching nodes in the xml datasource. I have tried the 'contains' and 'starts-with' xpath functions but neither one seems to work if you ... Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 02-21-2006 Error Calling NewFromSolution() I am trying to open a completed form using the following code: thisApplication.XDocuments.NewFromSolution(@''C:\TestForm1.xml''); Both the calling form and the form being called are fully trusted and digitally signed. I am not in preview mode and I have verified that my path is correct but I keep getting the following error: InfoPath cannot ... Posted to General (Forum) by sjc724 on 02-21-2006 Reference IP Object Model I am having a terrible time referencing the InfoPath object model in my C# Windows Forms application. I add a reference to the InfoPath Interop DLL, but I don't seem to have access to the object model. I cannot find any code examples in C# for this. I would like to be able to automatically call 'Submit' on all forms that the user has completed ...
