  • New InfoPath field refresh

Hi everyone, once I add a new field to my InfoPath form, that e.g. calculates a formula it shows up in Sharepoint as a new column. This column is then always empty, meaning the formula is not calculated for historical documents. I would have to open every document and save it, for the formular to kick in. Is there an easy way to do this? ...

Hi everyone, I have a SharePoint List based Status Indicator with a light system and average value per row. Now I want to have the average of those averages. So I go to "Modify this View" and under "Totals" - I select average for the respective column. Back in the view, nothing is changed. Aynthing I am doing wrong? ...

  • Re: Quality Environment

Hi donstephen, I think we are on the same page :) That way I would push the test data into Production, which I don't want. Copying the live data into my Quality list and moving that after changes to Production would work - but only if the implementation takes less than 15 minutes, which is also not feasible therefor I would loose data of ...

  • Re: Quality Environment

Hi donstephen, thanks for getting back to me. I am aware that I can create templates and then create a new list based on that. However, that means that you always get a blank list without data. Not ideal. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Kevin

  • Check Box click getting unticked due to data connection

Hi there, I have the following problem: My form has a field element (let's call it field A) in which the user posts a number. This triggers a data connection (Query) to set other fields. The user would fill field A and then go over to fill the next fields which are check boxes. Now what happens is, after filling field A (cursor is still ...

  • Quality Environment

Hi everyone, I have several Sharepoint lists with InfoPath forms. Since the changes that have to be made are a little more complex (and take a lot of testing) I create a copy of the list and work on that (you could call it a Quality Environment). Once I found the necessary changes (I make notes to remember them), I execute these steps in the ...
