i know how to make the button appear, I can't figure out how to launch the next form (which i have already created) and populate some fields with information from the first form Franck, that seems like it wants to create a new form. I want to send just field contents from one form to the other form.

I have a form that goes through a 3 step work flow. At the end of the work flow I would like to have a button or link that would launch a new form containing information from the current form. Is this possible?

I also had to filter that to select all the ''TX'' field where ''EXP_TYP''(expense type field) was equal to meals and entertainment then multiply it by 0.75 worked out just the way i wanted it to. If i make an mdb database a resource file will it then be attached to the xsn where ever it gets published? Is it possible to make a data connection to that resource file? Any examples would be great or would i have to make the data connection first and then make the db a resource file?

I can live with a drop down box for the price. A bigger problem now. Once i've finished the form and i publish it then try and open this form is says a new form cannot be opened and it says it can't create a dataobject and it can't connect to the database. do i have to have the database in the same location as the form template?
