  • Re: Concat values of multi-selection using double eval

Just tried publishing it to a web site and the default value worked.  Weird that it gets hung up in filler but my work is all web based so I should be good.  Makes me nervous though when things aren't consistent.

  • Concat values of multi-selection using double eval

In http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/29473/100974.aspx Hilary provided a sample form and showed how to use the double eval trick in the context of a multi-selection list.  Thank you Hilary!  In the sample code a calculated value is being set successfully.  Unfortunately you can't do much with a calculated ...

  • checkbox values as variables instead of constants

I have a checkbox bound to a variable of type decimal. Value when cleared: is .46 Value when checked is .59 (different /km reimbursement rates for different situations) To make the form easier to maintain I want to parameterize the values of checked and cleared and take them from a variables.  As the rates are changed over ...

  • Re: Should ListData.svc be available on Office 365?

Thanks Hilary.  That is probably the best approach.  It will result in three separate queries which will keep the server busy but will limit the returns.  That's a good trade-off since bandwidth is probably the limiting factor in a cloud app.  I won't even try to get fancy with a single list - just ...

Well my fears are realized.  It is indeed the loopback restriction. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2674193 Anyone have any ideas for alternatives? I need to be able to use OR statements to filter the data. I'm trying to build a console into a forms database (Mileage claims) and display only those records where the Current ...

  • Re: Should ListData.svc be available on Office 365?

Getting close but not there yet. In preview I get an error: The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: simplemileage InfoPath cannot run the specified query. The file is not a valid XML file. In IE I get a result with the right number of entries but no data.  It doesn't show xml but paints an interesting looking ...

https://xxx.sharepoint.com/_api/web/lists/getbytitle('validaccts')/items() This worked - or at least got the data connection for me.  Must have been something about syntax.

  • Should ListData.svc be available on Office 365?

Perhaps a bit of a newbie question but I can't seem to connect to list services on an Office 365 (A2) site.  SharePoint Designer 2013. Blank Form.  Setting up the data connection.  REST web service URL is a just a simple case, no ...
