InfoPath Dev

Hi Agni, I am fairly new to the infopath dev world. My thought is that reinstalling the product would replace the old template.xml and the old schema files with the new installation? Where do I find these files and what do I compare them to once I find them? Can anyone send me what the file is suppose to look like then I can just overwrite it ...
