The template is split into multiple views - Sales, Compliance, etc. If I attempt to convert the XML of a live document using the Sales.xsl , the error message is as follows: Error in XPath expression Unknown function - Name and number of arguments do not match any function ... I have another headache with Fiddler which is - constant username-password dialog box when Fiddler is running. If I mistype the username and password then I land into serious issues. Thank you, Saurabh Posted to General (Forum) by saurabh.dasgupta on 12-04-2012 Re: Infopath refuses to download an updated data connection file Hi Hilary, The data connection files are all approved. What's strange is that Fiddler has stopped showing any evidence of attempts by InfoPath to reach the file. As if the file was being picked up from the local disk. Cheers, Saurabh Posted to General (Forum) by saurabh.dasgupta on 12-04-2012 Infopath refuses to download an updated data connection file Hi all, I have a simple IP 2007 form which submits to a SharePoint document library and is designed to work in Client mode. The form is designed to submit back to SharePoint 2010. The connection file for this connection is stored in a data connection document library on the same site collection, relative to Forms library. The form has been ... When I try to establish a data connection to a /someservre/sites/site100/folder001/SomePage.aspx on SharePoint, InfoPath 2007 tries to determine some meta-data by calling the older RPC methods. Now, strangely InfoPath comes to the conclusion that this page is a document that might have been cached on the local disk ... I do see a difference in the headers. What surprises me is that I followed a similar approach in for another InfoPath which was scraping off a SP 2007 web page that had a SPDatasource in it and there was never a problem at all.I just ensured that the data from that page was a well formed XML. The code in the SharePoint page looks like ... Posted to General (Forum) by saurabh.dasgupta on 11-30-2012 Making InfoPath XML data source scrape data from a web part page Hi all, I have a custom Sand box web part on a page which emits some information. The objective is to read this data using a XML file data connection from within InfoPath. This is IP 2007 in client mode. The data emitted by the web part is as simple as <data>some text</data>While browsing the web part page through IE the emitted data ... Posted to General (Forum) by saurabh.dasgupta on 11-29-2012 SharePoint Designer Reusable Workflow gives me empty field values Hi all, I have site columns and a content type created out of these columns. I have a InfoPath 2007 form whose fields are promoted and mapped to the site columns. I have created a re-usable workflow which does nothing more than send out an email to me, with some of the custom field values. The re-usable workflow is attached to the content ... I did not have to use ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP") and run into issues of Access Denied. var accountNumber=XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:myFields/my:DistributorDetails/my:AccountNumber").text var ...
