    I got it to work by adding a filter to the Entries box. However, the drop down only includes my filtered data...which is fine, but the drop down starts with a blank. not ideal, but workable.   Thank you

    Please help. I have a drop-down list box that gets numbers from an external data source (XML file). Once a number is selected from the drop-down box, the corresponding text is displayed in a text dox. I do not want my users to be able to select a number. I want to either set the default value of the drop-down and then hide it? Or, have my text ...

    Got it....I had something wrong with my souce data. Quick question tho..... Is there a way to set a default value of the drop down? My form pulls user data from their LAN profile. I also have the matching data in my source file. I don't want the drop down box...I just want the form to crap the record from the source data that matched the LAN ...

    I am still having some trouble with this. I think this is my problem:   [../ID = current()]   Can someone tell me about correct syntax? What is "ID" is that the name of the field name from the external data source?

  • Access 2007 and Infopath 2007

    Can Someone help me please? I have an Access table with two fields [empID] and [info] My infopath form pulls the LAN id of the user. This LAN id is dropped in a field on the form called [LANid]  I want to add a field on the form that populates the [info] for all records where [empID] = [LANid]   Any help?
