ErnestoM... many thanks for you advice  i have tried another approch as Clayton descriped here http://claytoncobb.wordpress.com/2009/06/15/auto-numbering-infopath-forms/ and it is work fine....just i used a custom page after the user submit the form, so he will not go to the form library. many thanks
