Posted to General (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 10-23-2011 Best Method To Accomplish This Hi, Okay here is what I currently am trying to create: 1. Create a InfoPath form - done 2. Create a Template Email - done 3. Create a sharepoint site for document store - done 4. link all 4 together - not done So what it has to do is, users get the email and they can open the InfoPath form through the email, and then the email and ... Posted to General (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 10-20-2011 Re: On Save Clear Field Could you elaborate on qRules with OnSave? (wasn't able to google it) - and the data isn't external its internal, but designed to be only temporary for that specific form session only. Posted to General (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 12-09-2010 On Save Clear Field Does Infopath support a On Save event (well i should say just before save event) and it clears a specific field? Or is there another way of temporarily holding a value in a field while the form is open and clearing it when its about to save (so that it saves with a blank field)? Posted to General (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 12-08-2010 Re: Action Not Working? Sorry was just using hypothetical names. The rule works, but is there any "easier" method then creating that rule individually for 50+ fields? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 11-30-2010 Re: Action Not Working? Hmm, thats the way I've been doing it currently, but whats the most efficent way of doing this? this is currently what i'm doing: Fieldzz is a input field Fieldxx is a read only field Fieldyy is a data store field First Rule on Fieldzz -> if fieldzz is not blank set fieldxx to fieldyy Second ... Unfourtunately I can't have a hardcoded value in the current control, as the field is dynamic it can't be hidden and appear with a set text in it. Its text must derive from another text box, but never set only to that text box (so its default value cannot be of that text box and only ever set to it when this condition is met). Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 11-30-2010 Action Not Working? Why doesn't this action run? Condition: if fieldxx is not blank and fieldyy is not blank then do action: set fieldzz to value fieldaa Where field zz is the field in which i'm writing the rule for, and its a read only text box, where as field xx and yy are also read only text boxes that obtain data when certain boxes are ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 11-30-2010 Upon Form Open Function? Is there a way to open a input box that asks for the name of the person editing the form, and saves the data of whatever is inputed into a hidden field, when the form is opened and before the user can actually fill out the actual form. Or is there a simpler way to get the user who is editing the form without using userName() since ... Posted to General (Forum) by PhoenixICE on 11-28-2010 Multiple Conditions to set value? How would I go about setting a condition like below (couldn't think of how to search this so, my bad if it has already been asked): 10 check mark boxes, when they are checked they set the user name of the person on the adjacent text box (done this), then depending if all usernames are the same (since multiple people may edit one form) ...
