  • Re: Button needs to be pressed twice.

Hello Hilary so sorry for answering back so late. I tried the postback and that didn't work. I was in the middle of trying your new button suggestion and I noticed I forgot to mention something and I think it has something to do with it. Basically my form has a blank text field where the user puts in their login ID. The button in ...

  • Button needs to be pressed twice.

Hello, I have a fairly simple form. I have three data connections and a button that queries them and fills out some text fields. Problem is I have to click the button twice for it to do anything. First time I press the form kind of wobbles and only when I hit it a second time will it execute. Is there something I'm not doing? Having to double ...

  • Re: Can I add a MySite account picture on my form

I got it! I'm positive you have a more elegant solution in mind but just as an FYI for anyone else I basically broke up that link into two text controls made it the default value for each and for the username there's a third username value I already had. I simply concatenated all three and got my exact result. As always ...

  • Re: Can I add a MySite account picture on my form

OK thank you that's a great tip. And one that I see can totally work. I can figure out how to use that in a workflow but I'm a little unclear with a calculated field. I chose that or even looked at the Picture control. Not sure how to properly plug in the URL which would be ...

  • Can I add a MySite account picture on my form

Specifically I have a field where I enter a user account name, hit a button that queries a data connection that pulls department, title, etc. Is there a way to pull the image that's on everyone's MySite page in SharePoint? We're using SP 2013 FYI. Thanks in advance.

  • Writing Date field to text field

Hello, I'm trying to write a date field into a text field. I'm using the following expression msxsl:format-date(Archive Date, "mm-dd-yyyy") as the default value in my text field and a rule to run on the date field that writes to the text one. It works when I preview it in Infopath but when I try to publish it I get an error that ...

  • Arranging Data

Hi all I have what I hope to be a simple question. I'm using Nintex to do an XML query and pulling the filtered data into a collection. I'm placing that collection into a rich text box in an Infopath form. the data comes out but unfortunately it's coming out side to side and word wrapped. I would really love it if it would be single ...

  • Re: Error pulling data from XML File

Anyone have any ideas? I don't have the data loading on form so that it can load. But I put a button to run the query on the database which of course triggers the error. I tried putting a filter on the dropdown but that doesn't work either. Is there any way I can filter the query from Infopath before it hits the XML file?

  • Error pulling data from XML File

OK so my issue from what I've researched is a common issue. I have a form that I've made a data connection to an XML file pulling 3 columns of data. Unfortunately there's over 253,000 rows and the actual file itself is about 14 megs. So I'm getting the "The amount of data that was returned by a data connection has exceeded the ...
