the display name already is set to Title, but the weird thing is that the title returns the ID not to the item.. but to the item where it came from, in this case the target list of the lookup column ...

i have a field on list on sharepoint thats looks up from another field in another list. i use this field in  data source in infopath form, but the drop down list displays the ID of the value in the target list. how do i solve this?

they are not forms, am trying to edit list in sharepoint so that expire date is not less than publish date, i make the validation on both of the fields so both of them are colored red when the validation is fired, but then i have this case... so you can try it on a list in sharepoint
