I've experimented a bit but have had very little success. I'm only able to perform automated testing at the "unit test" level. Anyone care to share their experiences? Thanks. \cbf Posted to General (Forum) by cfernald on 03-28-2011 Re: Visual Studio 2010 and InfoPath 2010 Patrick, Are you not moving to Visual Studio 2010 because of this issue? Do you know if there is a preferred upgrade path either available or in-the-works? \cbf Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by cfernald on 03-28-2011 Visual Studio 2010 and InfoPath 2010 We are currently developing InfoPath 2007 forms using Visual Studio 2008 and WSP Builder Extensions 1.06 and deploying the solutions on SharePoint 2007. We were starting to move to InfoPath 2010, Visual Studio 2010 and SharePoint 2010 when we ran into this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb772074.aspx Basically the link says ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by cfernald on 03-26-2011 Form Template Aborts Validator I have an InfoPath 2007 form that causes an "object reference not set to instance of an object" when I perform a "stsadm -o verifyformtemplate -filename "InfoPath Form Template.xsn". The problem goes away when I remove one specific Option Button from the form. In fact, if I merely unbind the Option Button from ... Thanks for your interest and I apologize for getting back to this post so much later. I work on InfoPath in Visual Studio so the guts of the XSN are easily accessible. I yanked out the last view I created and was then able to open the form. I have no idea what the underlying problem was. I really wish more information about these ... Posted to General (Forum) by cfernald on 12-10-2010 Dreaded "The operation cannot be completed." error message. I've been building a layout for an InfoPath 2007 form for about 4 days straight. The form has 9 views. I've been building it in VS 2008 and running it in designer mode to admire my work, validate layout alignment, etc. I added a few tables to the layout and then went to run it in the designer and I get the dreaded ... Posted to General (Forum) by cfernald on 11-28-2010 Wrong XSLT in upgrade.xsl? Good Morning, I have an InfoPath 2007 form (browser based) that presents application error messages to the user by showing/hiding expression boxes. Recently I had need to update the text in one of the error messages. My problem is that while the changed error message text appears in any new forms created by the user, the ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by cfernald on 11-16-2010 Trapping "There has been an error while processing this form" Good morning, I have InfoPath 2007 forms that are being presented in the XMLFormView on an ASP.NET page. Life is good. However, every once is a while the users hit a bug and the "There has been an error while processing this form." error dialog is shown. Aside from the fact that the dialog is ugly, my biggest problem ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by cfernald on 11-11-2010 I have the biggest form.... Maybe not. I have a browser-based form that has 832 controls (dropdowns, textboxes, radios) across 6 views that are setup like 8.5 x 11 pages. Virtually every control has some conditional formatting. Not a lot of client-side rules but it does have 8,522 lines of C# code-behind. I'm interested in folks' ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by cfernald on 10-26-2010 Re: Missing Close() Method Yeah, you got that right. Actually, both forms had Browser Compability enabled. As an experiment, I unchecked Browser Compatability in the form that was compiling. I compiled and published it but it didn't work - i.e. it would even load. I sort of expected that. Then I set Browser Compatability back to enabled ... Posted to Code (Forum) by cfernald on 06-26-2010 Page 1 of 2 (12 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
