  • Re: Active Directory

Holy cow, braegger. Thank you! I'm not a programmer so can only guess that this routine would be associated with the OnLoad event? If so, what variable does the username end up in and how do I use it? Geez, I so need to know how all this works. I've hit the ceiling with my knowledge of InfoPath and need to go to the next level and understand ...

  • Re: Digital Signatures - Too Many Clicks!

Hi Mahitha, Could you perhaps elaborate on how you can cut down on the clicks using code? I am designing a browser-enabled InfoPath 2007 form (with full trust). Also, is there a way to force the user to sign a certain section of the form? Currently, the user can submit the form without signing the required section. Thanks in advance.

  • Re: Dealing With Character Limitations???

I would really like to know how to work around this too! I think there have been a few postings that use code, but for the majority of us non-coders a solution would really make the InfoPath form much more useful. A solution would be an excellent holiday gift to us all! Thanks.

  • Re: Submit expected behavior

Ok, that should work then. Did you tick you overwrite box when setting up the connection? I guess you did because you would of got an error message Did you refresh the webpage? The sharepoint website refreshes itself after you use the ''Fill out this form'' button. It does not refresh after clicking a submit button a 2nd time. I've got no other ...

  • Re: Security Issue's

Shailaja, On three of the groups, all user's are in them. It still say's that they are not able to open the view though. It seems really weird. Even by putting myself into the groups, without designing the form, I am not allowed to see them. Don't know of any other methods do you. The only thing that I can think of doing now is to create 6 ...

Hello Keith Brittain, You can have an xml file with the user names and alias for each group, check if the logged on person is in any group in the xml file and open the corresponding view if present in any group other wise display the message. Hope this helps!
