Sorry, but I don't think I quite understand your post.
The way I interpret your recommendation is that I store the current date and userID in a table. Then, on submission, merge that with a comments box that I've created, which in turn, gets merged with a running list of comments?

Is there a way to have the InfoPath form author's name to appear within the form? In other words, I would like to the name of the person who is completing a form to automatically appear on the form.

I am having a issue with InfoPath text boxes not letting me use more then 50 characters. I have set the text limit at 255 in both the text box properties and in the MS Access database. However ever time I want to submit mroe then 50 characters it gives me the error message, ''Only text strings less then or equal to 50 character(s) ...

Thanks for the quick reply but can you tell me exactly how to do this? I have an old version of Infopath and I read somewhere that the easiest was of updating the data source is to rebuild the form from scratch??

I work with InfoPath in German.
I have the problem to ''translate'' the formulas from the samples, that are written in English.
My actual problem is to put this following formula in German (to concat several email-addresses)
eval(eval(group1,''concat(my:email,';'),''..'')
if I replace the comma through semicolon and the single quote ...

Je voudrais donc que quand mon deuxième formulaire s'ouvre (avec la donnée saisie), le clic sur le bouton recherche soit automatique afin que mon formulaire soit rempli dès l'ouverture
