Hi tch_hp and welcome to the forums!
This should be pretty trivial, try this statement:
thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode( ''/my:myFields/my:OverviewUpdate'' ).text = ''true'';
You'll have to update the XPath to match your schema exactly, but this should do the trick.

I am trying to write a script in the OnAfterChange event for a text box that will change the value of a boolean atribute to true; that attribute is linked to a checkbox on the form. The schema string element for the text box is called ''Overview'' and the boolean attribute on that element is called ''OverviewUpdate''. Any ideas?

Hi Madhuri,
Thanks for the reply. So we can't make a attribute mandatory if its datatype is boolean or date.
Once again Thanks.

I have a need to create a button that will submit a form to a form library and at the same time open an URL in a new window.
I have tried some suggestions on using the onclick event for the button, but can't seem to get what I need.
Any suggestions on how to make this work would be great.
Thanks

Here's where I'm stuck. The IP 2007 example uses the
XPathNavigator xn = this.MainDataSource.CreateNavigator();
to get the xpath navigator object. To my knowledge this object is not available in the IP 2003 managed code solution. I'm guessing there's a workable convesrsion from the form's secondary datasource xml to an xpath ...

Hi Paki,
the easiest really is using conditional formatting. Double click the control you want to hide/show and select contditional formating.
The select form the first dorpdownlist your radioButtonControl, in the second is not equal to and in the third ''1'' or ''2'' or Yes/No depending how you have set up your radion button.
If you want to ...

Hi Vijesh
For Date node you can make it as not mandatory but for an attribute you can't!
to make Date datatype as not madatory you will have to open form in Design mode and extract the form files (from file menu) and manually update the Date data type as ''nillable=true'' in xsd file
