• Re: How to pass value from one form to another form

I have actually seen this before but only vaguely remember the cause - where the QdabraRules data connection is pointed to a SharePoint site rather than using the resource file in the form. You can walk through the data connection wizard again for that file and redirect it to the QdabraRules.xml file in the resource files in your form. Or, if ...

  • Re: SubmittoSharepointList and Office365

Oooh, good work on being a nerd... but you are right, we need to find and address the issue here. Steve, if you can, when you have a minute, could you let us know where our documentation let you down? I know it is complex (there are a lot of moving parts here) and I know that things are a bit scattered about - but as you might imagine, we've ...

  • Re: Xpath Syntax accessing two data sources

Well, that depends on your data structure. But let's pretend that my:SubCategory is now inside a repeating group called "Expenses". You've got a repeating table bound to that group. You are putting an expression box in the repeating table that is going to show the code - so current() in this case refers to the current instance of ...

  • Re: SubmittoSharepointList and Office365

Hi - I'm sorry you've had trouble with qRules and with the documentation. I'm checking with our test team - we may not have tested the mapping tool with Office 365. I'll see if I have access to an Office 365 site so I can look for a fix.

  • Re: Checkbox in Repeating Table

Well - are the "more details" already part of the secondary data connection? You could just add another repeating table / section bound to the secondary data source and use conditional formatting to show only the row where the checkbox is selected...

  • Re: Cascade dropdown in DIP (document information panel)

The filter looks like this in the version I'm attaching: /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:CategoryRelationList[@Category = xdXDocument:GetDOM("CategoryType 2")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:CategoryType/@Title[../@ID = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/pr:properties/p:properties/documentManagement/ns2:Kategorija]] This is assuming the in the ...

  • Re: Checkbox in Repeating Table

Well, the thing is - it wouldn't have to be boolean. You can just add the field to your repeating table, and it adds a text box or whatever, and you can right click that control and change the control to the text box. Like I said - the issue is that the user will be able to select multiple, so you'll need to add some rules that will ...

  • Re: Checkbox in Repeating Table

Hi - the field bound to the checkbox will have to be in the same data source as the other information to work correctly - that is, the SharePoint list. Do you have any fields in that list that you aren't currently displaying in the form? If so, you could bind a checkbox control to that. You'd have to add additional rules to allow for ...

  • Re: Save multiple documents

Here's what I did - I added another field to your Units data source called "Saved" - and moved the save logic to it. Clicking the button then sets Saved to a value of 1 - which triggers the logic. I think I left the rule setting the Unit Count on there - you won't need that any more. So, this means you'll need a helper field ...

  • Re: Xpath Syntax accessing two data sources

Any time I see a schema that has a field repeated with a slightly different name, I generally think a repeating node would work better. It may make things a little trickier for you - you'll need to use the current() function in your XPath to get the TaxID based on the SubCategory, for example, but it means you wouldn't have to change 9 ...
