Try this:
concat( Now(), ''test'' )
If that doesn't work you might have to do something like this:
concat( string(Now()), ''test'' )
But I think the first one will work. Let us know if there are any more problems!

Try this:
Dim temp
temp = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:field1'').text
Dim sampleNode = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2'')
Dim newNode = sampleNode.cloneNode(true)

Hi Dayna and welcome to the forum!
Could you please describe with a little more detail what you mean by a ''summary''?
One solution that does not require a seperate button (it happen synchroneously as the form is filled out) is to use expression boxes for all of the text and checkboxes.

Hello Raoul and welcome to the forum!
Can you provide a little more context on what you are doing? One helpful piece of information would be how your form is laid out. Does it use repeating tables? And how are you running the query?
Sorry if this isn't much help, I'm just trying to understand the problem a little better.

Thierry, I have had this problem too! It happens to me when I add custom widget menu items. The first preview works fine, but after you close the preview and then try to preview again, InfoPath totally crashes!
I tried to make a repro of this bug so that I could submit to Microsoft, but when I created a new blank form with custom widget menu ...

The full CAML documentation is located here:http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnspts/html/sts_delmitems.asp
However, for this particular question I think you are just going to change the cmd attribute of the Method element to ''Delete'' instead of ''New''.
This is just a guess, but try something like ...
