  • Re: InfoPath+MOSS 2007 Data Sources error

Hi Martin! Did you convert the data connections to UDCs? You'll need to configure these correctly to use SSO or some other form of authentication. The double hope scenario - Browser to Form Server to SQL is somewhat challenging to set up but it can be done.

Hi Vantuykom and welcome to our forum! You have to admin approve any form with managed code. Did you do that?

  • Re: NULL Values in dataset

I had this one. I was getting a dataset from an SQL query in Access. Whenever the returned column value was null, the node simply did not exist in the record. I got around this by bodging the query to add '''' to any columns that might be null. This always returned a node, even if null. I had to do something similar to force the type of a ...

  • Re: CommandBars object and ObjectWrapper

Are you including all of the correct libraries? I would copy all of the using statements from the top of FormCode.cs into this other file to try and use it. If all else fails, why can't you just use it from the FormCode.cs file? We have done some really complicated forms but the most CS files I've ever had on an InfoPath form is 2: FormCode.cs ...

  • Re: Remove Row From Repeating Table

Hi Simon, Thanks for this code sample! It is especially useful since it uses the InfoPath 2007 OM, which not a lot of people have experience with (including me, sadly!)

  • Re: Help - Drivin me Nuts

Hey Joel, It is possible for the XPath to display values will be different for an Expression box and a text box due to how they are represented in the underlying XSL. The most likely error is that the result of current() is different for the two controls. To help you debug the problem, you can use this XPath to determine where current() ...

  • Re: ScreenTip in browser-enabled form

Hi MylesRip, There is no way to access the ScreenTip programmatically, either through code or the designer. This is annoying and last week at the MVP Global Summit I let several members of the InfoPath team at Microsoft know that they should really expose these things as part of the object model. Lastly, I really doubt that ScreenTips will work ...

  • Re: Greg Collins HOW TO Populate Fields...

You were close! Here's what it should be: xdXDocument:GetDOM(''libinscos'')/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:libinscos[@pkguid=current()/@pkguid]/@insureco You should be able to hook up your form to the SharePoint list rather easily. I found this video that explains how to do this in IP2003, but it should be pretty much the same process in ...

  • Re: Invalid Date Validation

Hi Soshan and welcome to the forums! There is no easy way to disable certain dates from being input like you want, but you can do this with code. To do this, double-click the date field, go to Data Validation tab, select OnBeforeChange event at the bottom, and then click edit form code. Insert code here (using examples found from searching this ...
