Hello,
This message is one of the most frustrating in IP because it give no debugging information.
If you are getting this when trying to open an XML file, one thing you can try is opening that file via Preview to see if it loads. That might give a clue.

When I go to run my forms sometimes, it simply pops a message box up that says ''InfoPath cannot open the selected form.'' and then exits. There is no error information given, nor does it even get to the form load event. Anyone else ever seen this or know the problem?

I've never used this feature yet, but due to the randomness, a wild-guess would be to check whether having errors in the form might be the source of your trouble (i.e. required fields not being filled in). I wouldn't expect this to be a problem, but hey--you never know!

The best way to have full control over these things is to use code to submit. Then you can use try/catch statements and display messages only as you want to.

If you go to the data source task pane you can create an OnAfterChange event for the table row (i.e. the node that holds all the row fields), if that is more useful to you.
xdXDocument is not a valid object in code.
Your attempting to use current() in the XPath will not work because there is no real context for it. What are you expecting ...

Great! Hope that helped out!
