  • Re: Error in application infopath.exe

Hi francesco and welcome to the forums! I have never seen this error before, but it looks like an installation problem.  I would try repairing your Office installation.  If that doesn't work, try putting the error message into Google to see if anyone else has had this problem (which is likely), and how they fixed it.  If all ...

  • Submit button doesn't work when data is retrieved from database

Condition: if Case Date > today(), then disable submit button. It works fine. However, when I call the data back from the database, the submit button is disabled. If I pick the date again, it will become enabled. The disabled situation only occurs when Case date = today I have no idea why this is happening. Also, anything compares to today(), ...

  • Re: conditionally hide columns in a table

Hi soshan, Since you are using InfoPath 2007 you should be able to do this with the horizontal repeating section.  You should be able to make any table size imaginable my combining this control with the regular repeating section.  Just put the regular repeating section inside the horizontal one, or vice-versa, and apply conditional ...

  • Re: Value Limitations

Thanks, that really helped isolate the problem.   I confirmed that all of the values were under the Model attribute, but the Sharepoint View had an item limit of 100 per page.   For some reason, Sharepoint is only sending data from the first page.  As a work-around, I increased the number of items on the Sharepoint ...

  • Re: Switch to two different views from one view

Shiva has the idea. Try making a node on the secondary DOM to keep track of the 'state' of the form, and then weave that node into the view switching logic. Also, it might be easier if you just break the views apart more so that you don't have to use 1 view for 2 states.

Hi The.Student, I'm terribly sorry about all the confusion here.  I think we're still trying to get used to this new forum software, and that is clouding our minds, haha!  All of our tutorials can be found as blog posts here: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/default.aspx If you have a specific link that is returning a Server ...

  • Re: Underlined in Drop Down Lists

Aye Caramba! (cha cha cha) This has to do with the way InfoPath renders drop-down list box controls for printing.  There is no way to get around this, but if it is really bothering you, you could make a Print View that translates the drop-down selections into Expression Boxes, which will show up without any underlining.  With this new ...
