Hi,
I have a infopath form that I would like to use in a sharepoint list. I wonder if it is possible to make a field can only be modified by a selected user?
See attached picture as an example, I want only the user selected as the supply chain approver can choose the status filed as approve, reject or return.
Thank you!

Hi,
I have a question about the auto-generated "ID" column in the Sharepoint List. I found that if I deleted No.1-No.12 requests in the SharePoint list, the next new request will start from No.13. Is there any way to make the next new request start from No.1? Thanks!
I have attached the picture as an example.

I converted an InfoPath 2013 form to FV and I'm getting "Query Failed - An error occurred querying the data connection GetUseProfileByName - Details: The request failed with status 401."
The thing is, click "OK" and the finishedLoading rule to set Command to [ concat("GetUserProfileByName /properties=WorkPhone;Title ...

I can see the 'Created by' column in my document library with the name of the person who created the form, but I can't get this name to show up ...

I solved my problem!
On the Date date picker, I created a new Validation Rule that says, if the End Date is blank and the Reason equals Termination, then make the End Date required.
I was doing it the other way, where on the date picker, I said if the Reason equals Termination, then make the End Date required.
Silly me. :)

Hi Hilary, yes, this is a web form. I use validation rules on other items in the same form and they seem to work fine. Are you limited to the number of validation rules you can have in one form? Thanks for your file, I did look it over and it appears to be the exact same thing I'm trying to do.

Is this a browser form? Was it working in the browser before and just now broke? Are you using SharePoint online or on-prem? I just tried adding a new validation rule to a field in a form (attached - save the attached file locally, right click and select design and you can see the validation rule on the date time field) and it appears to be ...

In my form, if someone selects "Termination" as the Reason, I want the "End Date" to become required. As soon as I set the rule to make that field a required field, no one can enter a form even if they put an end date in that field. It gets a dashed red line around the box, indicating that the field requires a value, even ...

Thanks,
I'm using on premises. I'll look for some code for this.
