You are stuck with different object models. You are currently working in the InfoPath 2007 OM (as identified by the fact that you have a "_Clicked" function and not an "_OnClick" function. Yet you are trying to use the InfoPath 2003 OM to write your code. This won't work.
You will either need to change your form to use the ...

Sorry for doubling up some of the code. I tried editing it and it keeps posting some stuff twice.

You will need to use filters on v1 field to make sure they key correctly to the current row.
i.e. you would place your expression box in the table row, and then add a filter to the expression box such that the v1 key matches the key of the current row.

I understand now... you are using the multiple select list box (terminology is important here) and not check boxes (which is what I interpereted multiple choice box to mean).
That control does not allow you to do what you are wanting. You would have to custom design a control either using the InfoPath UI (which might be quite a struggle) or using ...

Sure.
Hopefully you have put your query field on a form, input some data and run the query with a button and seen the resulting data.
To automate this you have to "seed" your query field with the value you want and then run the query automatically.
The first thing I would do is setup the query to run automatically. I ...

It could be an XPath issue. It all depends on where you are starting from. For example if your current position is my:group5, then you don't need the ".." and would use the XPath count(preceding-sibling::my:group5), however, if you are on a child node of my:group5, then you would need the "..".
Once the XPath is correct, ...
