I've not had that happen before and I use references very frequently.... wonder if it is something else in your form causing the issue?
I don't understand the subject line of your question.

Well, XPath filters make selecting the nodes with the boxes checked a pretty straight-forward exercise:
/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW[d:Checkboxfield = 'true']
For example - with, of course, d:Checkboxfield replaced with your actual field XPath. You've mentioned qRules is not an option for you, so you'll ...

Hi there - you were smart to repurpose a SharePoint field for your checkbox - in your repeating table, you need for the fields to all belong to the repeating node the table is bound to in order for them to work right.
If you want to copy multiple instances of your repeating secondary data source into your main data source - that's going to ...

I'm using IE 9 / ShP and IP 2010.
So, first I tried a .png file with spaces in the name:
http://*****/2012032011530530355_Run IP form with input params from command prompt.png
Opens in IE w/out a problem from the form or from the address bar.
Then I tried a Word doc w/ spaces in the name:
http://*****/2012032011550094711_QueryDB ...

I see where I was confused. I hadn't realized field 1 was not in the repeating table.
Which instance of field 2 should field 1 match? The first? The second? The 23rd? :-)

I need to see if I can reproduce this first, I'll check it out today and get back to you. If it turns out we need to be encoding the URL, we should be able to get a fix in place and update the build w/in the week, I'm sure.

So - it must have something to do with the space encoding in the URL. If you attach a PDF or Word doc that doesn't have space in the name do you still have the issue?
-
Can you attach a copy of your form under the Options tab?
-
Do you have the same issue on other machines? If you paste the link the browser's address bar and hit Enter, what happens? I'm suspecting a machine config issue, frankly, since this is the first time we've heard of this, and we haven't had it happen internally in the forms we work on....

Hi - no need to create a second table to summarize data - you can do this with expression boxes and conditional formatting using your original repeating node. Here's one sample.
