Hi Tanveer, I'm not sure why this happens, but it looks you have found the workaround.  What wrong with wrapping the SOAP body? If you have other applications that depend on this web service, you could create a InfoPath interface method that wraps the parameters, but the body then just calls the original method.

SharePoint provides web services that allow you to download user information, and these have been talked about extensively on these forums as well as across the Internet.  Is there some special functionality you are looking for concerning groups?
